Just popping in to say that there’s a new session of HelloMorningsĀ starting today. Won’t you join us? I’m hoping for a way to make myself more accountable for starting the day in the Word and getting things done.
These next six weeks (the length of a HelloMornings session) will mean lots of changes for me. My seniors finish school in two weeks, my juniors finish in four, teachers finish in five, and the first week of summer is that sixth week. I always find that times of transition make it tough for me to keep up with the regular, everyday stuff of life, and they tend to make my spiritual needs take a backseat. These are busy weeks, too, and while I’m doing all I can to keep some margin, I know that I’ll have quite a few days / evenings that don’t feel like my own. I’m hoping HelloMornings can at least get me off to a good start.
I’ve also got a few end–of–year goals that I want to keep in mind, and the blog always holds me accountable, so here they are:
- Stick to HelloMornings so I can start off the day refreshed instead of harried.
- Finish grading early so I can really enjoy time with my students without that to do list on my mind.
- Pack up classroom neatly and with lots of labels (I LOVE LABELS!).
- Drink enough water every day. I’m using this app and I really like it.
- Meal plan so that we can eat healthy foods even in the midst of busy evenings.
- Set aside time for reading, yoga, and crafting.
- Go on a weekly blogging date with myself so I can get back into blogging regularly (because I seriously miss you all and finally feel the creative juices flowing again).
Let me know if you’ll be a part of HelloMornings! I joined an Instagram group called Gals of Grace, and there were still a few spots left in our group when I posted this, so join us if you can, or simply use the hashtag #hellomornings and join the whole community.
I joined! Still trying to figure out the ins/outs of it, but I’m in Gals of Grace with you š
I’m so glad you did! Yeah, I’m still navigating the whole group part, too. I’ve done HelloMornings before and loved it but never with a group.
